How to Track UVAM Application Status OnlineTitle

Tracking the UVAM (Unified Vendor Approval Module) status is fully system-driven and can be done only through the official Government e-Marketplace (GeM) seller dashboard. There is no offline tracking, no reference number-based shortcut, and no external portal.

Step 1: Log in to GeM Seller Account

  • Visit the official GeM portal

  • Log in using your seller credentials

  • Ensure you are logging in as Seller, not Buyer

UVAM status is visible only to the registered seller account. No third party can legally access it.

Step 2: Navigate to UVAM Section

Once logged in:

  • Go to Dashboard

  • Locate Unified Vendor Approval Module (UVAM)

  • Click on View / Track Status

This section displays the live compliance status of your application.

Step 3: Understand UVAM Status Messages

UVAM does not show vague messages. Each status has a specific compliance meaning.

UVAM In Progress / Under Verification

Meaning:

  • Backend checks are ongoing

  • PAN, Aadhaar, bank, GST validations are in process

  • No action required unless flagged

Compliance note:

This is a normal status, not a delay.

 Action Required / Clarification Needed

Meaning:

  • Data mismatch or missing input detected

  • Manual correction is required

Common triggers:

  • Name mismatch (PAN vs bank)

  • Aadhaar authentication failure

  • Incorrect authorization document

Click the status to view exact rejection remarks.

 UVAM Rejected

Meaning:

  • One or more compliance checks failed

  • Selling and bidding remain blocked

Important:

  • Rejection is not permanent

  • Correction + re-submission is allowed

 UVAM Approved

Meaning:

  • Vendor is fully compliant

  • Eligible for listing, bidding, and receiving payments

  • Approval is reusable across Government platforms

This status is the final compliance clearance.

Step 4: Download / Record Approval (Best Practice)

Once approved:

  • Take screenshots of UVAM approval screen

  • Keep a compliance record for internal audit

  • Share status internally with accounts & sales teams

UVAM does not issue a physical certificate, but digital status is sufficient.

Step 5: Track Delays Beyond Normal Timeline

If UVAM remains stuck in Under Verification:

  • Re-check document alignment

  • Ensure Aadhaar OTP was successful

  • Confirm bank account name accuracy

  • Monitor registered email for system alerts

Repeated edits reset the verification cycle.
